Rico Bowen was born in the United States and now lives abroad in Europe. At an early age, Bowen joined pop art band, Fear of Man in Washington D.C., enjoying moderate success with the band, after three years later, Bowen found a good nitch as bassist/guitarist and vocalist, backing musician for well known artists in studio and on tour. After many years, Rico decided to take time off and moved to Europe where he found a very influential rich culture and good musical comraderie.In 2009 Rico Bowen formed the band Crusher Jones with former Seal and Rick Astley bass player Les Nemes, and delivered their debut album on the Spanish label "Chivo Records". Such songs as "Wake up Call" and "Love is Gone" which were potential groove movers. After 2 years, Bowen took again time off to work more on his passion for horseback riding, after a few hardfelt relationship break ups from the heart, Bowen is back in the songwriting scene with much to tell from his romance torn experiences.
